– Andrew Chileski has been selected as Memorial Health’s new Chief Information Officer (CIO), a position he will assume on July 30, 2018.
As part of the system leadership team of Memorial, Chileski will be responsible for all information technology and strategy for Memorial Hospital, Memorial Gables, all Memorial outpatient facilities, and the various primary care and specialist physician practices. He will bring that expertise to the leadership table for discussions related to the continuous technological advancements and integration at the independent health system.
Chileski comes to Memorial from Berger Health System in Circleville, Ohio where he led their IT initiatives for more than 19 years. “Andy appreciates the fact that we are an independent health system and he honors the commitment we all have to making decisions that benefit our patients,” comments Chip Hubbs, CEO/President of Memorial Health. “His reputation as a leader, strong collaborator, change agent and a man of high integrity were appealing to us as so much is evolving quickly in our industry. I am confident he will build on our existing strengths to advance our IT initiatives even further in support of delivering the very best patient care.”
Addressing his appointment, Chileski commented, “I have worked with Memorial and its team members for many years and have always been impressed with the organization’s focus on relationship building, in addition to its ability to employ technology that enhances the overall patient experience. I look forward to joining the team and, together, further developing these strategies.”
An Army veteran, Chileski holds his BS in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh and an MS in the same discipline from Century University. He and his family will be relocating to the area this summer.
