National Philanthropy Day awards

The Greater Springfield Association of Fundraising Professionals (GSAFP) proudly announces the recipients of the prestigious National Philanthropy Day awards, recognizing exceptional dedication and contributions to our community.

National Philanthropy Day is celebrated annually in November, paying tribute to individuals, corporations, and nonprofit organizations that exemplify the true spirit of philanthropy and create lasting impacts within their communities. This event stands as a testament to the transformative power of generosity and positive change. Dr. Jo Alice Blondin, President, Clark State College, is the distinguished Keynote Speaker.

This year, GSAFP is delighted to recognize the Outstanding Philanthropic Business recipient, Wallace & Turner Insurance, Springfield and Urbana’s largest locally owned independent insurance agency. Wallace & Turner’s contributions to the community go beyond just providing coverage – the agency actively invests in local causes, supports charitable events and fosters personal relationships. This has earned Wallace & Turner a reputation as a trusted agency that cares about the well-being and prosperity of area residents.
