BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio – The Ohio Hi-Point Career Center welcomed 30 students to National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) on Wednesday, April 12. From over 80 applicants, the following thirty students were accepted into National Technical Honor Society: Alandria Madison Ketchell, Abbygail Ann Dolan, Alexis Christon, Alexis Renee Snow, Andrew Racine, Aubrie Mary-Ann Stillings, Brendan Gallagher, Brendon Trey Lane, Chelsea Strunk, Christian Joseph Downing, Darian Kay Boyer, Hannah Lexie Allen, Hannah Reedy, Jadzia Reyn Alexander Café, Jonathan Scott Michael Lee Parthemore, Kacie Bush, Karleigh Mahood, Kearstin Courter, Kierstyn B. Severt, Kristin Davidson, Marissa Davis, Matthew Aaron Smith, Maykayla Smith, Rachel Frances Larson, Rachel Kaiser, Sean Edward Hurley, Sierra Lensman, Tamara Combs, Tyler J. Sanford, and Victor P. Kep. There were many qualified applicants this year, and GPA’s were high enough that it took recommendations, evidence of extracurricular activities, demonstrations of perseverance and character to get in. NTHS honors the achievements of top Career-Technical Education (CTE) students, provides scholarship to encourage the pursuit of higher education, and cultivates excellence in today’s competitive workforce. With the mission to connect academic excellence to the demands of tomorrow’s workforce, these student leaders understand the vision of industry within local communities and have been recognized based on their dedication to sustaining growth and continuous improvement.
