60, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 25,2017. She was born January 21, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the William & Geneva (Massie) Debusk. She is survived by three sons, Jamie & Misty Chassereau, Jeremy & Amanda Chassereau, Joshua & Brittany Griffith Chassereau; eleven grandchildren; a sister, Linda Scott; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Bill & Mark DeBusk. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with a memorial service at 8 PM in the funeral home.
WILLIE MAE “BILLIE” POSTON
90, of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Friday, March 24, 2017. She was born September 29, 1926 in Saltville, Virginia the daughter of the late Frank Henegar & Louise (Allison) King. Loving mother, grandmother, wife and special friend to many. She worked in the ammunition plant in Abingdon, Virginia during WWII and retired from Catlow Inc. with over 30 years of service. She is survived by a son, Robert Poston Jr. & wife Robin, and a daughter, Karen Poston-Burge & husband Jonathan.; two granddaughters, Jessica & Erin Poston; half sister, Rebecca Henegar-Llamas; special niece, Cathy Poston-Alden; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Poston, Sr.; and a sister, Rachel King-Jackson. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Thelma “Louise” Shellabarger
Thelma “Louise” Shellabarger, 92, of Springfield passed away Friday, March 24, 2017. She was born September 10, 1924 in Springfield the daughter of Homer and Ruth (Bagford) Martin. Louise was a longtime member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, then transferred to Emery Chapel United Methodist. She was an Avon Representative for 43 years and belonged to the Pythian Sisters of Red Star Lodge. Louise enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and watching the Cincinnati Reds on TV, but most of all she loved being a mom and grandma, and taking care of her family. She is survived by her four children Paul R. “Rick” (Joetta) Shellabarger of Plain City, Judy K. Alexander, Pamela S. (Ron) Melchi, and Deborah M. (Ron ) Lloyd, all of Springfield; ten grandchildren Mark Shellabarger, Jennifer (Dave) Klemp, Jeff Shellabarger, Jillian (Zack) Tobias, John (Belicia) Alexander, Jodi (Travis) Parsons, Tom Alexander, Brian Melchi, Krista (Alan) Cox, and Paula (Jonathan) Combs; eighteen great grandchildren Kendall, Kamryn, Avery, Reese, Megan, Adam, Courtney, Shane, Peyton, Steven, Keith, Alex, Carter, Morgan, Kailee, Elijah, Landon and Carson; two great great grandchildren Kaidyn and Khloee; brother-in-law Charles Shellabarger; sister-in-law Naomi (Richard) Brown; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Paul Reuben Shellabarger in 1987; brothers Warren Elwood Martin and Richard I. Martin; son-in-law Steven R. Alexander; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-8 PM in RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Thelma’s life will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM. in the Memorial Home with Rev. Orbie Estep officiating. Burial to follow in Enon Cemetery. Millicent Ruth McHenry, 92, of New Carlisle passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in SpringMeade Health Center. She was born January 7, 1925 in Huntington County, IN, the daughter of the late Eldon L. and Mary Etta (Eubank) Swaidner. Ruth was a devoted member of Beavercreek Christian Church for 30 years. She was a tiny bundle of joy that people would stop in the grocery store and share their problems. Ruth was one of a kind, who will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her husband of 70 years Garl D. McHenry; son Neil (Bonnie) McHenry; daughter Kathy (Greg) Froehle; granddaughters Abby (Stan) Boyce, Emily (Brian) Mowery and Melanie Wilson; great-grandchildren Gabriel, Nathaniel, Katy, David, Luke and Anna; brother Ward C. Swaidner; sister Marilyn Mason; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 3:00 PM in Beavercreek Christian Church, 3009 Shakertown Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45432, with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 2:00PM in the church. Rosemma C. Anderson
Rosemma Catherine Anderson, 86, of London, OH passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 after a recent re-occurrence of breast cancer. She was born April 4, 1930 in Connersville, IN the daughter of George and Ernestine (Hoover) Bertram. Rosie was a graduate of Hagerstown, IN High and attended Nurses Training in Louisville, KY, where she married George Philip Anderson, Jr. M.D. on January 5, 1952. Rosie was a member of the Womens Alliance to the Clark County Medical Society, Buckeye Trails Girl Scout Council, Mercy Hospital and Community Hospital Auxiliary; Christ Episcopal Church where she served on the Altar Guild, ECW President and was the first woman Warden of the church; Young Womens Mission, past Board Member of Clark Memorial Home, London Country Club and many other affiliations. She enjoyed traveling, boating, snow skiing, golf, bridge, sewing, knitting and gardening, but, was most proud of being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Rosie is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, George P. Anderson M.D.; five children Evelyn (Kelly) Kennedy of Memphis, TN, Elaine (Alan) Christ of Santa Barbara, CA, Mary Anderson (Ron) Argo of San Diego, CA, Nancy (Bruce) Blasnik of Stamford, CT, and George (Maria) Anderson III of Bowie, MD; grandchildren Charles and Cate Kennedy, Craig, Doug and Carla Christ, Lisa Argo, Stephanie, Kimberly and Jessica Blasnik, Sarah, Emily and Nicole Anderson; seven great-grandchildren; brothers Jerry, David and Robert Bertram; sisters Phyllis Garry and Roberta Hensley; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Ellen Mae Bertram, Rebecca Garvin and Iona Brown; and a brother George Bertram. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 1:30 PM. at Christ Episcopal Church with The Rev. Margaret Holt Sammons officiating.
