Springfield Christian Youth Ministries is hosting their annual Spring Dessert fundraiser on April 10 and 11 at 7PM. This year’s event will be held at the Hollenbeck Bayley Conference Center and will feature stories from SCYM students, volunteers and executive director, Faith Bosland. Ben Bonham and Jack Legg will serve as emcees for the event. Desserts have been generously donated for the dessert buffets by over 20 area bakers and restaurants. All proceeds from the event will benefit SCYM, which serves over 500 elementary and middle school students city-wide each year, with the help of more than 200 volunteers dedicated to “helping kids crush the odds with the love of God.” There is no cost to attend; there will be an opportunity to give.
