The exhibit consists of 46 local entries as well as a giant airport and a train exhibit built by OKI LUG (Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana Lego Users Group). This Tri-State group is 70 members strong! Check out some of their massive creations at www.OKILUG.com. Local entries include several models of airplanes, both imaginary and real, including an F-16, P-51, De Havilland Comet 4, OV-10, and a Sopwith Camel with working engines and lights. One will also find spaceships, helicopters, a hot air balloon, Orville Wright, the Red Baron airports, control towers, an air museum, the WACO Fly-In, and more! The event will include activities such as a LEGO scavenger hunt, a LEGO building zone with thousands of bricks for building, popcorn and the LEGO movie, robotic demonstrations, a market to purchase used LEGO kits, photo opportunities with DC Comic’s Bombshell Hawkgirl and Captain America, as well as an opportunity to win a classic bi-plane ride for two in “Sunny,” the big yellow WACO airplane!
