July 14, 2017(Springfield, OH) –Clark State Community College will hold RegFest, a registration event for current students, on selected dates in July. RegFest offers students the opportunity to register for Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 classes at one time.
Nina Wiley, dean of student engagement and support services at Clark State, said RegFest provides a comprehensive registration experience for students.
“RegFest is an opportunity for students to register for Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 courses with the assistance of a success coach,” she said. “We have simplified the process for students to engage with financial aid experts and success coaches. Students can receive personal advising to ensure timely completion of their degree or certificate.”
RegFest aims to get Clark State students engaged with success coaches, faculty advisors, fellow students and student affairs staff. Students will learn how to utilize tools for course planning and financial aid.
While at RegFest, students learn about Financial Aid Self-Service (FASS), an online interactive resource for students. FASS gives students a dashboard view of their financial aid status and provides a checklist and information about satisfactory academic progress. FASS was released last spring and can be accessed through the Clark State student portal.
