Springfield, Ohio – Join the Clark County Safe Communities Coalition for the official KICKOFF to the Click it or Ticket season. Law enforcement officers, and public health professionals will highlight the importance of seat belt use. Seat belts remain the single most effective piece of protective equipment.
Between May 15 and June 4, local and state law enforcement will be participating in the annual Click It or Ticket high-visibility seat belt enforcement campaign. Bringing awareness to Clark County residents and writing citations for seat belt violations in the process. The campaign coincides with one of the busiest holiday weekends of the year. The goal is to combine increased enforcement and a zero-tolerance policy with effective communication to road users on the importance of seat belt use.
