The Clark County Safe Communities Coalition, local, federal and state law enforcement agencies will unite to kick-off the Click It or Ticket National Campaign on May 16th. We will be conducting a seat belt check at Catholic Central High School, followed by a short press conference. The 2018 National Seat Belt Enforcement Mobilization is May 21 – June 3, 2018.
In 2016, the use of seat belts in passenger vehicles saved an estimated 14,668 lives of occupants ages 5 and older nationally. The Click It or Ticket campaign focuses on safety education, strong laws, and law enforcement officers saving lives.
Please join the Clark County Safe Communities Coalition, local law enforcement, Aryn Waag and #safeTEENfirst as we work together to increase seat belt usage and save lives in Clark County.
