Racing to the End

Recently a former inmate of our County Jail, Cedric Savory shared that he had been in jail in many different communities but that “No jail experience has been like the one in Clark County. That is because of Chaplain and the Chaplaincy Program. Chaplain Bailey treated me like a human being. He cared about my needs. He cared about me as an individual. Chaplain Bailey supported me. He prayed with me…. He addressed the issues in my life.”
Today Cedric is working in marketing.

Shawna Benniger, a former addict who was in and out of our jail stated, “The Ministry (Jail Chaplaincy), the love you share, does touch hearts. It does change lives.” She is now a general manager of a restaurant and a supporter of the Chaplaincy.

We have many in our community whose lives have been changed by love while in the belly of the whale “jail”. We thank God for your involvement and financial support, which made it possible to reached so many, touching the lives not only of incarcerated individuals but also the lives of their children.
More than 130 kids received Christmas gifts this month.

Each life changed while incarcerated flows out into more love and less crime in our own neighborhoods. All of us have a personal stake in this ministry.

Starting in the New Year we are excited to roll out a powerful Key Vision video series with former Clark County Jail inmate Eric Mata. Eric wrote a curriculum “Find a New Way to Live”.

This video series with a curriculum will prepare inmates for success once they are released. It will begin airing Monday-Friday starting in January to about 200 inmates daily and will continue indefinitely. We are pleased announce this $20,000 project has received $10,000 from the Clark County Prosecutors office along with some private donations. We just have $8,500 to go. Would you like to be a producer of a segment that will touch 100s of lives?

  • $1000 can sponsor an entire show that runs indefinitely.
  • $100   covers a one-time broadcast.
  • Donation of any amount to our non profit is so graciously appreciated.
  • Non cash opportunity option as well. We are having a year end online auction. We are looking for items of $100 or more.
