Teacher Libby Rudolf will lead ‘enpleinaire’ watercolor workshop at the Hertzler House. Artists should bring their own paints and brushes and a sturdy back board. Arches paper and ink pens will be provided. ($15 per person)Registration limited to 15.

Come gaze out at the night sky and discover the stars, constellations and planets.

Spangler Nature Preserve, Leadingham Prairie
Starts at 10:00 AM on Friday and goes till 10:00 AM on Saturday
For the 3rd year in a row, the Park District will be teaming up with Wittenberg’s Biology students to conduct a 24- hour count of as many species as possible throughout our parks! There will be activities for the kids and the public will be invited to participate in some of the counts. Join us for kid activities on Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. More details will be posted on our Facebook page as we get closer to the event.

George Rogers Clark Park, Meet at lower parking lot
Join Park District Volunteers each Thursday morning to enjoy a walk through the woods at George Rogers Clark Park. This group has been exploring the park weekly for over 10 years and we are always looking for more hikers! Meet at the parking lot below the dam and experience the beauty and camaraderie found in the outdoors.
