The campaign will feature the “Courage, Commitment and Compassion” t-shirt designs and donors are challenged to collect all three. The campaign begins with the “My Courage Defines Me” t-shirt. It’s free to everyone who registers to donate with CBC from April 29 through June. 29.

The Memorial Day weekend and the beginning of the summer travel season is a challenging time to maintain the blood supply.  CBC encourages donors to keep appointments to donate or reschedule as soon as you are able.

New platelet and plasma donors are in high demand, especially those with blood types A, AB, or B positive. These blood components are vital for the treatment of cancer, trauma, organ transplant, and burn patients. The First Christian Church blood drive provides the opportunity to donate platelets and plasma on the third Tuesday of every month with the extended hours of 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  Find out more at www.GivingBlood.org  or talk to an apheresis specialist at (937) 461-3220.
