Health Fair Set to Make an Impact

Springfield, Ohio – The Springfield Chapter of the NAACP is working with Heart Health Now, Clark County Combined Health District, The Links Inc. and Springfield Regional Medical Center to host the 2nd Annual Minority Health Fair.   The event started in 2016 as way to lower blood pressure and heart disease in the African American community and Springfield community.

Screenings that will be offered include the SRMC Mobile Mammography Unit, Blood Pressure checks, blood draws to check cholesterol, PSA and blood sugar.  Physicians from the community will be on site to answer health questions and provide additional screenings.
