Intro to Needle Felting
An Intro to Needle Felting class will take place on Thursday, November 30 from 6:00 to 8:30 pm at the National Trail Parks and Recreation District Administration Building. Learn how to felt with a needle at this introductory class. Felting with needles is fun and artistic. Create 3-4 wool folk art Christmas ornaments. Patterns and all materials will be provided in class. The registration fee is $35 and the registration deadline is November 24, 2017. For more information call 328-7275.
Furry Family Fotos
Furry Family Fotos is Thursday, November 30 and Friday, December 1 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Snyder Park Clubhouse. Wish all your friends and family a Yappy Holiday with a picture of the entire family, including the 4 legged members! Fee includes three different pictures ( photographers choice) emailed directly to you o print as many as you wish. The fee is $10 and the registration deadline is November 28, 2017. This program is in partnership with the Clark County SPCA.
Santa Comes to Snyder
The annual holiday event Santa Comes to Snyder will take place on Sunday, December 3 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Snyder Park Clubhouse. Celebrate the season with Santa and his reindeer at Snyder Park. Kids will have the opportunity to make a craft. Bring your camera for great holiday pictures. For more information call 328-PARK.
The Night Tree
The Night Tree family program will be held on Saturday, December 9 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at the NTPRD Administration Building. Listen to a holiday story and then have the opportunity to make natural decorations and crafts to decorate trees for birds. This program free and open to all ages. An adult must accompany children. Pre-registration is required by December 5, 2017. For more information call 328-PARK.
Dribblers Youth Basketball
Registration is underway for Dribblers Youth Basketball for youth in grades 1st & 2nd. Dribblers Youth Basketball is an instructional league teaching the basic skills of the game through drills, stations and games. This 6-week program will be held twice a week starting in January, with days and times to be determined. Adult participation is required. The registration fee is $35 and the deadline to register is December 1, 2017. Registration is available online by going to www.ntprd.org or in person at the NTPRD Administration Building, Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Junior Jammers Youth Basketball
Registration is underway for the Junior Jammers Youth Basketball for youth in grades 3rd & 4th. Junior Jammers Youth Basketball is a highly instructional league with an emphasis on skill development. This 6-week program will be held twice a week starting in January. The first two weeks will be a clinic and practice style sessions with the last 4-weeks being practice and games. The registration fee is $35. The deadline to register is December 1, 2017. For more information call 328-PARK.
 
Trail Walkers
Trail Walkers will meet on Tuesday, November 21 at Old Reid Park and meeting at the bridge on Pumphouse Road. Trail Walkers highlights the multi-purpose trail system while promoting fitness, fellowship and fun. These guided walks are self-paced. The 2017 Trail Walkers program is sponsored by Richards, Raff and Dunbar Memorial Home and Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home. Trail Hikers
Trail Hikers is organized by National Trail Parks and Recreation District and held on Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Rebert Pike Nature Park on the 1st, 3rd & 5th week of the month and at New Reid Park on the 2nd & 4th weeks of the month. These guided, self-paced hikes will allow you to explore and enjoy our local natural environment.
