The Greater Springfield Association of Fundraising Professionals’ (GSAFP of Clark, Greene & Champaign Counties) receives “2019 Friends of Diversity Designation”
AFP International awarded GSAFP the “2019 Friends of Diversity Designation”. AFP’s mission is to empower individuals and organizations to practice ethical fundraising through professional education, networking, research and advocacy.
GSAFP is among 90 chapters in the country who have advanced and increased inclusion, equity and access in the fundraising profession. On February 15th, GSAFP offered “Inclusive Leadership: Leveraging Diversity for Success!” presented by Dr. Karen Townsend at Clark State. This event empowered over 47 participants with trends, action steps and networking to benefit our community.
