Chapter to celebrate its first birthday

AFP International announced the official approval of the formation of the Greater Springfield AFP Chapter in November 2017. AFP’s mission is to empower individuals and organizations to practice ethical fundraising through professional education, networking, research and advocacy.

You are invited to our Fundraising Day/National Philanthropy Day on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Ohio Masonic Home’s Clubhouse, 2655 W. National Road, 11:30AM -1:30PM. “Celebrating the Power of Fundraisers!”will be presented by Ericka Harney, Consultant, CAGS, CAE, CFRE, GPC, CVA. The individuals who helped establish GSAFP to be  honored are: John A. Brown, Security National Bank CEO; Mary Jean Henry, WSU Advancement; Karla Harshaw-Garrett, ABLE Development Director; and Ed Marrinan, Greene Giving, Executive Director.

Meeting cost is $35 for AFP members, $40 for non-members and $300 for a table of eight, payable by cash, check, PayPal or credit card at the door. This includes lunch, parking, meeting materials and one CPE for social workers, counselors, MFTs and nurses provided by Butler Consulting.
