Joanne Harris contacted us and was looking for someone that needed a medical bed. At that time we did not have anyone that we knew of so Joanne donated the bed to the Senior Dream Center and we stored it until we could find someone. As we all continued to look for someone, Joanne came across Brent Anderson and he had found Steve Bunch who was in need of a medical bed. Brent contacted us earlier this week and we delivered the medical bed to Steve Thursday.
Steve has a rare neuromuscular disease that was limiting his sleeping options and he was sleeping in his wheel chair which was bad on many fronts including the fact that he needed to have his feet elevated and this was impossible in his current circumstances. This medical bed, graciously donated by Joanne was the answer to Steve’s prayers.
Thank you to Joanne for donating the bed, Brent for matching us up with Steve and for Steve’s brother-in-law Ed for helping us get the bed in and to Gary Waugh for the use of his truck and muscles. This was truly a team effort and God’s timing was perfect.
